🪙 Walhalla Heritage has made it possible to step into Walhalla's gold rush era to experience the town's stories, people and places using cutting edge virtual reality (VR) technology.

⛏ Walhalla is known for being a historic town, and with an immersive VR experience like 'Walhalla Alive' visitors are able to experience that history in a completely new way.

🤝 The project was made possible by a community grant from Baw Baw Shire Council for the VR headsets and additional funding from Regional Development Victoria for the VR experience as part of the Tiny Towns fund.

The virtual reality experience was developed using archival images, current-day video mapping, and film production.

Designed by Chris Gillard of Team Creative, who worked closely with WH and community members.
